Legend has it that long, long ago, when this land was rugged and unsettled and the sun rose and set over empty prairies and rocky hillsides, four dusty roads crossed at this very point.

Four teams of pioneers…the Texas Rangers, Rough Riders, Silver Spurs and Lone Stars…came from each of the four dusty roads to this point. Each team was on a search for a place to call their own…a land where they could live in peace and prosperity as they served God with integrity, honesty and love.

Outlaws also crossed this territory, looking for ways to harm and corrupt the innocent. It was at this crossroads in the hill-county that the Texas Rangers, Rough Riders, Silver Spurs and Lone Stars came together as an unstoppable force to put an end to the outlaw’s wrongful deeds. As a united front, they forced the outlaws from the land, never to cross this path again.

In the spirit of tradition, the four teams still come together for friendly competition during the summer months with utmost respect for one another and with godly character.
