Our Owner

Christine Baskin and her three children (Katie, Annabelle and Mac) continue a fourteen year legacy of this family run camp, providing a blend of activities that are educational and fun. A graduate of Southern Methodist University and Ursuline Academy in Dallas, Christine recruits counselors and staff year-round from colleges and universities who understand and strengthen the core values of the camp: fun, faith and friendships that last a lifetime.

Our Founder

Marietta Johnson is an educator, parent, grandparent, devoted Christian and avid lover of smiles and laughter. She has the rare ability to find exactly what makes every youngster special. Her background of nearly twenty-five years in Christian camping reflects her commitment and love for kids and summer camping.

Our Director

Shannon & Melanie Morrison and their two children, Stephen and Bailey, are happy to be joining the CBS family. Shannon is a Texas Tech graduate and was previously the principal of an elementary school in the panhandle for the last 9 years. They are excited and looking forward to having many great summers here and are pumped about the big things that are planned for summer 07!
